English walnut curved lid jewellery box
This jewellery box was a commission by a gentleman as a birthday present for his wife.
Made from a English walnut, which many people consider to be one of the best woods, this jewellery box has a hand shaped lid that follows a curve running from back to front. The grain pattern flows into the handle on the box lid.
Inside the box are two removable jewellery storage trays, made from ash. The trays have compartment sizes that were specified as part of the commission design process.
The jewellery box and the trays are lined with burgundy suede.
Materials: English walnut, ash. Oil and wax finish. Burgundy suede linings.
